Lions Day with the UN
Commemorating a partnership of 70 years, Lions Day with the United Nations (LDUN) gives Lions the opportunity to learn and discover how the UN and Lions together can continue helping those in need on a global scale.
At LDUN, held at UN Headquarters in New York City, approximately 500 Lions, UN diplomats and other key representatives discuss targeted humanitarian challenges in engaging panel discussions; celebrate the winners of the International Peace Poster and Essay contests and more.
Mark your calendar to attend the 2016 Lions Day with the United Nations on Saturday, March 12, 2016. The cost to attend LDUN is $75.00 USD per person.
The 99th annual Lions International Convention will be in Fukuoka, Japan, June 24-28 2016!
Each year, more than 20,000 Lions from across the globe gather together to celebrate at our international convention. Learn about other club and district projects. During international convention, you will have the chance to join Lions from more than 120 countries and geographical and marching side-by-side down the streets of the host city during the Parade of Nations. Attend seminars and vote on the association’s future.
Fukuoka is a well-balanced harmony between the old and new. Historically, it is the merging of two cities; the port city of Hakata and the former castle town of Fukuoka were unified. Fukuoka is the home of the oldest Zen temple in Japan and is well known for its gourmet food.
